Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 April 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Powercademy platform (the “Service”), provided by Powercademy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16247693) with its registered office at C/O Aardvark Accounting, 1 Cedar Office Park, Cobham Road, Wimborne, BH21 7SB, United Kingdom (“Powercademy”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide during sign-up is accurate.
2. Your account
- You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don’t share your account or password.
- You’re responsible for everything that happens on your account. If you think someone else has accessed it, change your password and email us immediately.
- One account per person. Don’t create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or share access with people who haven’t paid.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Access to paid (“Pro”) features is provided on a recurring subscription. The current price is shown at checkout, and includes UK VAT at the prevailing rate.
- Subscriptions renew automaticallyat the end of each billing period unless you cancel. We’ll attempt to charge your payment method on file at the start of each new period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full payment-card details. Stripe is the merchant of record; their terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
- We may change subscription pricing in the future. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice (at least 30 days for an existing subscription), and the new price will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
- If a payment fails, we may retry the charge for up to 30 days. If we still can’t collect payment, we may suspend or terminate your access to paid features.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings › Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, after which the renewal stops.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and we don’t bill you again.
- Nothing in this section affects any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under UK law.
5. Acceptable use and community rules
The Service includes a community where members can post, reply, and react. Treat it like a professional space. Specifically, don’t:
- Post spam, advertising, or off-topic promotional content
- Harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against other members
- Share illegal, infringing, or sexually explicit material
- Post malware, phishing links, or anything intended to compromise another user’s account or device
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation
- Scrape, reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute course content outside what your subscription allows
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or ban users at our discretion to enforce these rules. We try to give a warning where reasonable, but we don’t guarantee one.
6. Content you post
You keep ownership of anything you post— your posts, replies, and uploaded images remain yours. By posting, you grant Powercademy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and (where relevant) moderate that content for the purpose of running the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content other users have already interacted with (e.g. replied to), which may remain visible in context.
You confirm that anything you post is yours to share — you have the rights to it and posting it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
7. Powercademy’s content
All courses, lessons, videos, written materials, software, and other content provided by Powercademy is owned by us or licensed to us. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use this content for your own learning. You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly perform the content
- Share your account credentials so other people can access content without paying
- Download or extract content for use outside the Service, except for files we explicitly mark as downloadable resources for personal use
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service running reliably, but we don’t promise uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure access. We may temporarily take parts of the Service offline for maintenance, updates, or to deal with abuse. Where reasonable, we’ll give notice for planned downtime.
9. Termination
- By you: you can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings › Privacy.
- By us:we may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by violating the community rules in Section 5, attempting to defraud us, or sharing paid content with non-subscribers). We may also terminate access if payment for your subscription has failed for more than 30 days. Where reasonable, we’ll give you notice and a chance to put things right before terminating.
- On termination, your access ends and we may delete your account data in line with our Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimers
Course content is provided for educational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and up-to-date, but the Power Platform and Microsoft AI ecosystem move quickly — we can’t guarantee that every detail will reflect the latest product behaviour at the moment you view it.
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties (such as fitness for a particular purpose) and make no guarantees about specific outcomes you’ll achieve from using the Service.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UK law — in particular, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the subscription fees you have paid us in that 12-month period, or (b) £100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Powercademy against any third-party claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you post that infringes someone else’s rights.
13. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes (for example, changing the cancellation policy or the limitation of liability), we’ll let you know by email and/or by showing a notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t accept, you can cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer based elsewhere in the United Kingdom and have non-waivable rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you have a complaint, please email us first at support@powercademy.com. We’d much rather sort things out informally.
